The people over at Japanese online store Toyful have teamed up with Bear Model for the release of a new Kingudan (KingDan) X10 colorway once again! Appearing in the 5th episode of the Mazinger Z anime with Bear Model’s toy interpretation standing just under 10″ tall, they’re made of glow-in-the-dark vinyl with turquoise and red sprays plus additional black, golden and silver highlights and have been priced at $68 each. Currently available here for open pre-order until the end of May, Toyful will probably ship to Japan only, so you’ll be needing an appropriate forwarding service of your choice.
Toy Tokyo have released a new Bunyo Seijin colorway by Bearmodel at their online shop for exclusive items! Originally available at SDCC a few weeks ago, they’re made of vibrant pink vinyl with metallic turquoise sprays for a price of $100 plus shipping. Bunyo stands 9″ tall and ships worldwide, with the exception of Japan and China.
This month’s Medicom Toy releases continue their ongoing Godzilla Vinyl Wars series in honor of the first Godzilla movie in 10 years, offering a selection of Japan’s finest toy makers and reproduction editions! Available for pre-order until the end of August and expected to ship in late September and November.
These two Bullmark Godzilla are the only editions that can be ordered here by customers worldwide, whereas the others are limited to Japan, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brazil and Taiwan. Both versions stand 9 inches tall and retail for $69 plus shipping, with coloring design from Yuji Nishimura of M1GO!
By Marmit comes this Mothgodzi 1964 edition with green sprays for $64 and Marusan have got a black/gray “Godzilla Strickes Back” 1955 edition.
CCP are offering a matte black 11″ GMK Godzilla for $69 and also from Marmit comes this amazing 10″ Destoroyah piece in red vinyl for $106.
Sofvilife have got an enormous Giant Hedorah for $106, cast in dark grayish vinyl and measuring close to 14″ tall.
And finally, here’s another J-tale Godzilla by M1GO x Bullmark in green vinyl for $75 and a 1962 Kingodzi by Bear Model for $69 with a size of 9 inches.
To celebrate the latest Godzilla movie after 10 years of silence, Medicom Toy have started accepting pre-orders for the first pieces of their new “Godzilla Vinyl Wars” series! Available here for Japanese and here for international customers, the five figures consist of Kingodzi by Butanohana, Giant Pretty Godzilla by Sofubilife, Destoroyah version by Marmit, OG version by Bear Model and a Blue edition by M1go. The toys range from $43 to $106 and can be ordered until the end of July with an expected delivery date in late October.
Medicom Toy continue to expand their line of DC Comics Retro Sofubi figures with some new Batgirl and Batwoman toys! Produced by Bearmodel in collaboration with Frenzy, they stand roughly 10″ tall and are priced at $85 each. Shipping in late September and coming packaged in a window box!
Up for pre-order at Medicom as well, are new Daburas M2 and Kingudan X10 colorways by Bear Model! Priced at $95 and $85 respectively, they stand about 10″ tall and will ship in July 2014.
Another collaboration of Bear Model’s Mori Megumi Noriyuki with Medicom Toy gives us new Kamen Rider No. 2 and Sabotegron figures! Priced at $76 and $67 respectively, they’re up for grabs for Japan residents only and stand 9.5″ tall.
Bear Model are currently offering a few unpainted yellow Danchel figures at their online store for Japanese orders only – originally seen as a painted Medicom exclusive in last September, they’re priced at ¥6.300 (approx $62) and are based on the sixth episode of Mazinger Z in 1972.
Toyful have got another Bear Model exclusive: Abdullah U6 from Mazinger Z! Priced at ¥7.350 (about $72), they’re cast in metallic grey vinyl and can be ordered until March 7th, Japan residents only.
Mandarake have started accepting orders for two new “Cheap Homage” Mazinger Z toys! Based on Mazinger Z bootleg figures and colors from the past years, they can be pre-ordered until February 25th and will start shipping in May; produced by Medicom Toy and Bear Model, both versions measure about 10 inches tall and retail for $98. Including a detachable Rocket Punch and the green “Retro” edition includes a detachable jet blaster with belt.
Reviving yet another Tokusatsu series, Medicom Toy are currently offering two figures from the Kaiketsu Lion-Maru series of 1972: Lion-Maru and Tiger Joe! Selling for Japan residents only, they measure 10 inches in height and are priced at 7.800¥ (about $76) plus shipping, made of injection-molded plastic and having been sculpted by Bear Model.
Mandarake have returned with another Bear Model exclusive: Alien Antler and Alien Wolf! Available for pre-order here until December 25th for both international and Japanese customers, they measure an approximate 6 inches tall and are priced at $50 each plus shipping. If they have more applicants than stock, buyers will be picked at random.

Here we go again with the second round of Medicom Toy announcements: Kikaijyu Gorongo S2 (animation color)! Produced by Bear Model x Dragon Boy, they measure approximately 10″ tall and are from the 13th episode of the 1972 Mazinger Z series; priced at $77 and shipping in March 2014.
